Walkers Chocolates aims to provide an inclusive shopping experience. This statement describes the approach taken; it does not claim formal accessibility certification.
2. Focus States
Interactive controls use visible focus indicators so keyboard users can track their position.
3. Semantic Structure
Pages use headings, landmarks, labels and meaningful control names to support clear navigation.
4. Images and Alternative Text
Product images use descriptions based on the product name, pack size and category. A branded text alternative appears if an image is missing or fails.
5. Typography and Contrast
Readable type sizes, restrained line lengths and semantic colour tokens support legibility and contrast.
6. Responsive Design
Layouts and controls adapt to small phones, tablets and desktop screens without hiding essential shopping functions.
7. Screen Readers
Status messages, form errors, menu states and accordions use accessible names and states where appropriate.
8. Report an Issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier, email [email protected] or use the Contact page. Describe the page, device and issue.
